Toni Case, the editor of CompareShares.com.au, is Australia’s first journalist to specialise on contracts for difference (CFDs). Toni was a staff writer for Shares, Personal Investor and Asset magazines; and is a qualified financial adviser.

James Dunn was the founding editor of Shares magazine, personal investment editor at The Australian and has written for BRW, The Australian, Personal Investor, The Age and Management Today. He is the author of Share Investing for Dummies. In 1984, James won two BMWs on Sale of the Century. Selling the cars financed a share portfolio – which unfortunately did not survive the 1987 crash. This event inspired James to become a finance journalist.

Anthony Black is a long-standing journalist, having worked in newspapers for more than 20 years. He was the Sunday Herald-Sun's finance editor for eight years and his reports were published in News Limited papers across Australia.

Nick Renton is the founder and first president of the Australian Shareholders' Association. He is a consulting actuary, commercial arbitrator, company director and writer. He is the author of 62 published books covering shares, property, managed investments, taxation, wills and the Australian economy. He has written books about more different topics than any other Australian author. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2004.

Mike Dobbie is the former managing editor of Shares magazine, which was Australia's most influential newsstand publication for investors and traders. He was the deputy editor of Personal Investor magazine, editor of Qantas - The Australian Way, national managing editor of business titles with Text Media and a BRW sharemarket journalist.

John Pitt is a former journalist for London's leading financial paper, The Financial Times. John was at The Financial Times for 15 years, during which time he specialised in international corporate and equity news.

Jill Fraser has 25 years' experience in the media as a radio producer on 2UE and journalist for News Ltd, Australian Consolidated Press and Key Media. Jill is the senior writer for Ita Buttrose and recently co-produced a television pilot hosted by her. She is a regular contributor to the Herald Sun and The Courier Mail.

Larissa Tuohy is the former editor of Money Management magazine. Larissa specialises in writing about superannuation, DIY strategies and retirement planning.

Will Kraa, the CompareShares.com.au resident trader, spent much of his career teaching and public speaking before starting his own successful business. As the business generated spare cash he became interested in investing in the stock market; his success as an investor subsequently led him to full-time trading and he now earns most of his income from trading equities and CFDs.

Brendon Lau is the editor of ShareAnalysis, a premium retail investment service offered by Aegis Equities Research.

Adam Hamilton is a principal of Zeal Research, a US-based investment research company. Zeal's principals are lifelong contrarian students of the markets who live for studying and trading them.

Sarah Belfield, CompareShares.com.au's US correspondent, was previously a reporter in Perth, specialising on minerals exploration, oil and gas companies and mining related issues. Sarah has written for Australia’s Mining Monthly, MiningNews.net, RESOURCESTOCKS magazine, Australian Mining magazine, ResourceInvestor.com and Energy Tribune magazine. Sarah holds a first-class honours degree in geology and chemistry.

Paul Jackson is a Brisbane-based Financial Planner with MacDonnells Financial Services, which is licensed under FYG Planners.

Jeremy Gillman-Wells, the principal of Canberra-based financial planning business, Bentham Financial Group, won Money Management's Financial Planning Award for the category Pre-retirement planning in 2007. Jeremy, who has an MBA in Financial Planning, was drawn to the industry after a career in the army, where he undertook work in East Timor, delivering both military assistance and humanitarian duties.

Jeff Cartridge is a private trader and investor with a wide variety of investments in shares, CFDs and property. Jeff is the author of the book Supercharge your Trading with CFDs published by John Wiley and Sons and has educated tens of thousands of people in Australia and New Zealand about trading.

Clifford Bennett is the founder of independent research firm FxMax - ranked the “most accurate currency forecaster worldwide” by Bloomberg News in 2006 - and Chief Economist at Sonray Capital Markets. Clifford started his career at Macquarie Bank and was Senior FX Strategist Asia for BNP Paribas, based in Singapore, and a member of the BNP Paribas global economics group. He is the author of Warrior Trading.
